Live Scan Fingerprinting – Terms of Service & Acknowledgment (Florida)
Service Description
Live Scan fingerprinting is a professional biometric service that includes identity verification, electronic capture of fingerprints, and submission to the designated agency using an ORI number. Once fingerprints are captured and transmitted, the service is complete and irreversible.
Customer Authorization
By enrolling, scheduling, or presenting for Live Scan fingerprinting, I confirm that:
I am the individual whose fingerprints are being captured (or I am the authorized guardian/agent, where applicable).
I voluntarily requested this service and authorized the transaction.
I presented valid identification and consented to biometric capture and electronic submission.
No-Refund / Non-Reversible Service
I acknowledge that no refunds, reversals, or chargebacks are permitted once fingerprints are captured or transmitted, regardless of the outcome of the background check, agency processing time, or eligibility determination by the requesting authority.
Fees & Agency Determinations
Fees cover professional services rendered and any required transmission costs imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). The Live Scan provider does not control FDLE agency decisions, processing times, or results. Denial, delay, or rejection by a third-party agency does not constitute failure to render service.
Disputes & Chargebacks
I understand that initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after services are rendered—especially by claiming “unauthorized” or “service not received”—may be disputed by the merchant using service records, submission confirmations, and identification logs.
Governing Law & Venue
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Venue for any dispute shall lie in the county where the service was rendered.
